With a new emphasis on alternative energy, it is no wonder people all over are starting to use the benefits of solar power. It is certainly an everlasting energy source, as long as there is the sun, there will be available solar power.

One advantage of this alternative power is that it is a very available energy source for electricity. However, there are also some disadvantages to solar energy that you should be aware of.

It’s best to research all of the advantages and disadvantages of solar power before you actually have a system installed on your home. If the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, then you’ll know that setting up your home for solar enerfgy is the right decision for you.

The Short-term Cost of Solar Energy: A Disadvantage

The sun’s rays are free, they beat down naturally on earth, however, it costs a lot of money to actually set up solar cells and other solar equipment on your home. Just the equipment to power a pool can cost thousands of dollars. It is very important that you diligently research all costs associated with powering any part of your home before you do it.

Ask questions about warrantee’s, how much repairs cost if necessary etc. One great long-term cost advantage to going solar is that you will never have to pay another bill from your power company.

Talk To Neighbors Who Use Solar Power

The best way to learn firsthand the advantages and disadvantages of alternative power is to talk to people who actually have solar cells set up on their homes. These people have nothing to gain by lying so you should get a very honest account of what it means to live off of solar power.

If you live in the suburbs you should easily be able to find someone in your neighborhood that already has solar power. Another great way to learn more about this enrgy source is to go to a store that sells the solar equipment and ask them if they have any testimonials or a customer list. Get a hold of these poeple and ask questions about solar energy.

Make sure that you contact more than one person. That will not only help you understand the advantages and disadvantages to solar power, but it will also give you a chance to get feedback on that store’s level of service.

You may hear responses like, “It’s very expensive to set it up initially but otherwise it’s great,” or, “I’ve saved so much money from going solar over the years it’s not even funny.” However, you may also hear things like, “If there’s no sun, you don’t get that much power. The reserves do not last that long and I’m sick and tired of all this solar nonsense.”

If you get mixed reviews from several people, make two columns and add the two up. Then, you should get a good idea how people feel about their alternative power.

Read Solar Power Forums

Forums are another great tool to hear, or read, firsthand how people feel about their solar setups. When people post things on a forum, they know it’s anonymous so you should also get a very honest representation of the advantages and disadvantages of solar power. Compare the list you get from the forums with the list you got from talking to people and then make your decision.

As you can see the most important aspect to buying solar power for your home is talking to other people, doing your own cost research, and then determining if it is right for you. Correctly weighing the advantages and disadvantages will help you make the choice that is right for you.

If you plan to live in your home only for another year or so, it may not be worth the cost, but on the other hand you could end up saving yourself a lot of money in the long run by going solar if you stick around for five years or more.

About the Author:

This has been a tumultuous week for Florida residents as tropical storm has lingered for five consecutive days, dumping rain in the pan handle area steadily. The storm is only the fourth to make landfall on three separate occasions. Some areas have had two feet of rain to deal with along the low lying central Atlantic coast. Surely these water weary residents are ready for Fay to be on her way somewhere else.

Although tropical storm Fay has not been as severe as many in the past, there has been around twenty five lives lost, most recently two in Florida that were caused by heavy surf. Flood waters have caused snakes and alligators to show up in some unexpected places. The streets in some areas have seen a number of them and residents must beware.

Some counties have been declared disaster areas because of flooding. A lot of people are using their kayaks to get around where driving is not possible. There have been power outages and many schools and businesses are closed. It will be hard for surveyors to access the actual damage until the water has receded.

Whenever there are storms like Fay, even if the wind damage is not severe, the floods caused by the rain do enough damage to make up for it. Homes and businesses are uninhabitable even after the water has receded. Water damage crews will be very busy these next few months doing all of the necessary things to get people back in their homes and work places.

If you have never had your home flooded it can be hard to understand exactly how bad it really is. Anything that the water comes in contact with can be ruined. Even after only a few days of being submerged, mold will begin to grow where the water has been. This alone can totally destroy a home if it can not be killed and gotten rid of before it overtakes the entire home. Floods like these are dreaded by insurance companies because they may not be flooded with water themselves, but they will definitely be flooded with claims by those who are smart enough to have coverage.

It is likely to be at least a few more weeks before the total extent of damages done by tropical storm Fay can be tallied. It is still sure to be in the millions of dollars after all is said and done. Even when the water of Fay has gone away, the hurricane season is not nearly over yet and there could still be more damage to follow later.

Every day people do dozens of things that put more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. This gas is the main perpetrator of climate change, yet activities like driving, heating your house, air travel, and electricity consumption, are hard to stop. Individuals that want to reduce their carbon footprint, the amount of carbon dioxide generated in a year, have the option of buying carbon offsets, often called renewable

energy credits, or RECs

Carbon offsets are projects that decrease the amount of greenhouse gases (GHG) like carbon dioxide in the air to counterbalance the amount that an individual has emitted. These projects can include, but aren’t limited to planting trees (carbon sequestration), erecting wind turbines or solar panels, reducing methane (a greenhouse gas more potent, but less common than carbon dioxide), or updating manufacturing processes to use less fossil fuel.

To offset the average US household energy consumption of 10,656 kWh per year, 3Phases, a large wind company in the Midwest, charges $213.00. 3Phases will use this money to produce, in theory, 10,656 kWh extra in wind energy by building that many more turbines. This new renewable energy will be added to the grid in the place of conventional energy, like coal. The pricing of carbon offsets for alternative energy firms is based on the price difference between fossil fuel energy production and the alternative energy production per kilowatt hour.

In all cases, the money from the offset purchase must instigate additional reductions by the company. Otherwise, the price of the credit will not accurately reflect the amount of GHG reductions it caused. Community Energy Inc., a Pennsylvania-based organization operating in New Jersey, is one of several companies doing the same thing.

As offset purchases have become more popular, journalists and researchers have raised the alarm and cautioned consumers about offsets that do little more than make you feel good. The major concern centers on additionality. Carbon mitigation is only additional if it occurs at a level above the baseline level, also called ‘business as usual’. Ideally, the offset you buy should initiate extra reductions that could not have happened without the money you spent. Additionality is hard to measure: large firms are already working to reduce their GHG-producing activities, and offset purchases, especially small ones, may not actually instigate enough new activity to fully offset the promised amount of kilowatt hours.

A recent New York Times article publicized these problems. To many environmentalists, the carbon-neutral campaign is a sign of the times, easy on the sacrifice and big on the consumerism, Andrew Revkin reported in his piece Carbon Neutral Is Hip, but Is It Green? Revkin quotes Denis Hayes, a leading sustainability activist and expert; the worst of the carbon-offset programs resemble the Catholic Church’s sale of indulgences back before the Reformation, he says. Instead of reducing their carbon footprints, people take private jets and stretch limos, and then think they can buy an indulgence to forgive their sins.

In the past year, researchers discovered that Al Gore, director of the climate change documentary An Inconvenient Truth, has a carbon footprint twenty times the national average; his mansion consumes almost 221,000kWh (kilowatt hours) a year. Gore buys offsets to legitimize this enormous fossil fuel consumption, but many question if his offset purchase actually exempts him from his climate change sin.

Citizens in China use an average of 6 carbon tons per year, and in India, the average is less than half that. In the United States, however, the average person generates around 25 carbon tons per year. Many environmentalists feel we should be reducing our carbon consumption by taking big steps to change our personal and organizational habits and use different technologies and/ or fuels, instead of taking the easier path of changing nothing, and spending money to transfer the reduction responsibility to others. Different offset providers have different pricing schemes, which further complicates the issue of additionality.

Most people familiar with the offset market, including offset providers, encourage individuals first to take steps to reduce the amount of energy they use before making an offset purchase. Conserving electrical energy by turning off lights and computers at night, buying fuel-efficient appliances and vehicles, and being an informed consumer about the food you buy can all make significant reductions in your carbon footprint. After taking these steps, only carbon offsets can mitigate the remaining GHG emissions, allowing individuals to go completely carbon neutral.

In summary, trees don’t reduce carbon, they sequester it for as long as they live. Energy conservation is probably the best way to lower your carbon footprint.

Carbon offsets essentially fund additional carbon reduction that would not happen otherwise.

Individuals and institutions have 3 ways to lighten their carbon footprint:

1) Reduce your own energy consumption

2) Replace dirty energy with clean

3) Facilitate and fund energy conservation by others, particularly those who cannot afford to do it themselves

Computers are handy during their lifetime but once they’ve chewed their last byte, disposing of them properly can be a burden. Computers contain toxic chemicals and carcinogens that are hazardous to everyone’s health. Computer recycling can be of great benefit to both the environment and the economy. Estimates show that nearly 75% of outdated electronics are being stored, and if all that can be recycled, the savings in resources and to the environment will be enormous.

Reuse or Donate

There’s a saying that goes, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” Donate your old but still usable computer to public schools, charities, or low-income families that may need them. If your computer is less than five years old, there’s a good chance that someone else will find it useful still. It feels good to know that you are able to help your less-fortunate neighbor acquire a computer that they can’t afford. What’s more, you’ll be in for a tax break!

Recycle

If donation for reuse or repair is not a viable option, you can send your computer for recycling to recycling companies. You should pick the recycling company that would reuse the parts they can and manage waste responsibly. They should be able to show you that parts don’t go to countries with poor ecological track records, like China, and that items like circuit boards and leaded glass get exported to green-friendly sites in developed nations.

Before sending your computer for recycling or for donating, you want to make sure that the data on your hard drive won’t go elsewhere. If you plan to clean it yourself, use a reliable disk cleaning software to avoid getting your personal data in the wrong hands. Other recycling companies wipe out your hard drive’s data for you and provide a certification for the process. You have to verify first before sending your computer if they offer this option.

Awnings not only add that something extra to the exterior of your home, but they can also save you money on energy costs. An awning is a covering that is attached to the exterior of a structure, usually a canvas of some sort made of acrylic, or some similar material. These coverings are a good investment for those people that enjoy spending time on their deck or patio.

Retractable awnings are a very popular variety and are incredibly convenient. These awnings can be installed above windows, doors, or overtop of your favorite outdoor area, such as a deck, terrace, patio, veranda, or porch. During the summer and spring month’s people tend to want to be outdoors and entertain outside more often. An awning can be used to cover an area where you may be dining with friends, especially when the sun is beating down. The convenience of a retractable awning comes when you decide that you want to possibly lie in the sun or just enjoy a vibrant day. The awning can be drawn back in so that the deck is exposed to the sunlight. If there is a possibility of rain the covering can be brought back out to cover the area from the overhead showers. Most quality awnings are made with such durable material that they are able to resist wear and tear from bad weather, sunlight, and most other environmental elements that may come into play.

Since the areas that most awnings cover are located near some sort of window they also block a good portion of sunlight from coming into the home. Since there is less sun shining inside energy costs can be reduced. Usually when the sun shines in through windows and doors it adds extra heat to the indoor temperature, therefore making an air-conditioning system work even harder. The prevention of sun shining indoors also keeps furniture and carpets from fading as much.

A company that specializes in carrying awnings will most likely have a variety of options to choose from. Since an awning is supposed to be an accent to your home, they are available in hundreds of styles, patterns, and colors.

Having an awning can help you get the maximum enjoyment out of any outdoor living space,

There are not that many people left that you tell you about the severe consequences that many people in the Midwestern United States suffered when there was a drought there that lasted for quite few years during the first third of the twentieth century. People everywhere had to watch as their farmlands literally dried up and turned to dust blowing in the wind. It was almost like a phenomenon. Year after year these farmers waited for relief from the dustbowl that their lands had become.

This past year the Midwestern states have had anything but a drought. They were continuously drenched week after week and instead of their fields and towns drying up, quite the opposite was true. Everywhere you looked in state after state there were fields of new crops that were flooded beyond salvation. This is one year when they were praying that the rain would just stop for a while.

Now it is Southeastern states that have experienced droughts over the past several years and they still have not had much relief. Although it seems that most states have received a little more rainfall than they did last year, places like Georgia are still behind in their rainfall amounts. These droughts for the past few years have caused streams, lakes, and even some river flows to all but dry completely up. Many residents have experienced severe water shortages and tourist spots like Lake Lanier in Georgia have suffered because of the low water levels.

When states suffer severe droughts like those that have occurred lately, many times limits or bans are placed on outdoor water usage. This is to help ensure that there will be enough drinking water and water that is needed for more important things than washing cars and watering lawns. Georgia even tried to have the state line redrawn where it meets Tennessee to have access to more water. Georgia also wanted to stop allowing so much water to flow down stream into Florida.

You know things are bad when states want to start shifting around borders of one state to another and limit the amount of natural water flow from there state into another. Northern California has considered the same thing to limit the amount of water that flows downstream in their state down to Southern California. It has to be really bad when one part of a state does not want to share the water with the rest of the state.

Hopefully there will be more drought relief in the near future. Other states that have also experienced droughts recently are Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Virginia, and North and South Carolina. Experiencing continual droughts this wide spread will take its toll over time and we just have to hope that this is not going to last for very much longer.

During the old hot rodding days, oil was king. It was also only about 25 cents a gallon, and everyone thought there was an endless supply. Then we were hit with the oil shock of the seventies, and we realized that there was not an endless supply of oil (only of lines at the gas tanks) and we had to change our ways. Big, gas guzzling cars had to give way to economy models, and many of the traditional car companies suffered. But continued hish oil usage still threatens the supply.

This fact has forced the world to look at alternative sources of energy to fuel our vehicles. What knd of alternatives are suitable to running cars? Let’s have a look at the facts.

There are many forms of alternative energy, primarily from the forces of the earth: water (tidal or hydroelectric), air, waste (biomass), the sun and the earth itself. But currently, we only meet 10% of our energy needs through these alternative natural sources. Coal, gas and nuclear fuel supplies 88% of our needs, and oil 2% For vehicles, however, oil is by far the biggest source of power. Diesel and gas oils powers most of the cars, trucks and SuVs on the roads today. Biodiesel fuel such as vegetable oil, methanol and ethanol are starting to be used in some buses. Using the same logic, we should be able to make our cars into mini-windmills or mini solar panels. But this use is limited and we nee to find a longer-range solution.

What does the future hold?

Using alternative energy directly in cars is not practical. What’ the solution, if not windmills and solar panels? Hydogen as a source of fuel for vehicles has proven to be the most viable. Many hydrogen powerd vehicles exist today, and more are being developed.

How do we involve alternative energy more in our lives? Hydrogen as a source of power is extracted form a number of different natural resources, such as water, biomass, coal and methane. The best source is water and many cars today are being run on fuel cells that extract hydrogen from water.

There are many processes to extract hydrogen molecules. But, in general, all of these processes require electricity tofunction. As the world’s population grows, the demand for power and energy grows with it. That will help the popularity of hydrogen power, but this type of alternative power will eventually be replaced by other, more efficient types of alternative energy.

So the quest for other, better energy sources for our vehicles will continue. We may see the day when an extremely powerful solar cell or roof mounted turbine will power a car for miles.

For now, the present problem of finding alternative energy solutions to power our vehicles continues. The task is large, but it is certainly is achievable.

Dear Fellow Car Enthusiast:

Thanks for requesting this report on the “200 MPG Carburetor.” It should inspire you. It may make you angry. It may answer some of your questions, while raising a few more. For example.

These questions have been running through my mind, How about you? Is the motoring public the victim of a cruel, profit-motivated rip-off…have carburetors been developed, but suppressed by “big oil interests,” that are capable of giving our cars and trucks better than 200 miles per gallon of gasoline? Is there any truth in the rumor that there are cars on the road today that actually get this fabled mileage?

FACT OR FICTION? DECIDE FOR YOURSELF

1. Reportedly between 1933 and 1936 a Canadian, Charles N. Pogue, was a awarded a number of patents covering a new, vaporization type carburetor. In 1936, he installed a working model on 1935, 8 cylinder coupe, and turned the car over to a leading car company of Canada, for testing.

2. Further reports claim the car achieved an astonishing 205.5 miles per gallon of gas. The car company “one of the big 3 in Detroit” reportedly documented this performance in writing. The same vehicle was then reportedly mileage tested by other Canadian automotive agencies. Results, also reportedly documented, were the same: over 200 MPG under average driving conditions. One report stated, “It performed equal to, if not better, than any car with a standard carburetor.”

3. According to a leading automotive journal, when the story broke, the Toronto Stock Exchange was swamped with orders to dump all oil stock.

4. Shortly thereafter allegations were made that, Pogue’s carburetor “disappeared.” No further tests were conducted, no fresh stories appeared in print. Did Pogue sell out? He supposedly denied doing so. Yet in a short time, Pogue (previously a man of reputed modest means), owned a factory that manufactured oil filters. No Carburetors.

WE GET LETTERS

Below are a few letters we’ve received lately. Why would people be writing back to us if the vaporizing principle was a hoax? These people are just like you and I. Not some huge corporation. These are real people telling of their experiences with vaporization. Listen to what they say.

G.D. of Il., writes that he has been offered a $100,000 a year job to quit playing around with his hobby. We haven’t heard from him for some time.

R.P. of Wisc., says he averages 80 MPG on his Oldsmobile Toronado, He says he got as high as 149 MPG with his first prototype model and is now working on another one to install in a Chevy with 283 V8 that he expects to do better than 180 MPG with.

R.C. of TX., Has on his device for more than a year now and has applied for patent. He has been able to get as high as 110 MPG under some testing, but normally the average is not quite that good. He has had a couple of mechanics helping him and has worked out just about every problem anyone could think of ever having in a system of this type. He has been in touch with us quite often during his research and he now feels that the device is about ready to market. He is looking for backers if you might be interested, get in touch with him.

R.G., of FL., Has been giving Seminars and claims to get 45 to 65 MPG on a 1976 Cadillac with 425 cid V8 engine.

B.W. of W.V., has been working on these things for several years. He now has been working on these things for several years. He now has three different carburetors and one of them gets him 60 MPG on his Chrysler Cordoba. Last we heard about him was that he was going into production and market one of the carbs at about $250.

If you’re interest in contacting these people we have names, addresses and in some cases phone numbers listed in our new update. Available when you purchase the manual.

SOMETHING BOTHERS ME!

HOW ABOUT YOU?

If the Pogue story is true, why isn’t it on the market? Surely then it must be a hoax. Anything with that type of gas savings should go into production immediately to make the U.S.A. energy strong and reduce inflation by leaps and bounds. And the Leader of every nation should be pushing for mass production of

these devices. Yet from 1936 to the present date no 200 MPG CARBURETOR is in production on a mass scale and the Pogue Patent is now expired. Anyone can build it now. What can all this mean to you? As stated before decide for yourself! Can we get America motivated to overcome these sinister forces that

don’t even want you to read about the Patent Drawings & Descriptions of Pogue

(now expired), plus many more Drawings & Descriptions of other pioneering inventors.

WE GUARANTEE SATISFACTION

OR YOUR MONEY BACK!

Send for your Big “Secrets of the 200 MPG Carburetor” FACT or FICTION Manual today, and get set for an automotive adventure! Read it at your leisure…Study eye opening drawings and descriptions. The price? Only $14.95…about half the price of a tank of gas!

Then if your not convinced this is priceless information…If you don’t consider it a prized addition to your reference library. I want you to return it for prompt refund at the end of 30 days. You risk nothing. But if you think that’s all, wait! We’ve got more, go to our Amazing Bonus report below. You’ll be absolutely amazed!

Order TODAY while we can ship your manual immediately. As you can imagine, it’s an all time best seller for us and our present supply is limited.

Located in the northern part of South America, the Amazon is shared by nine different countries; and one of which is Brazil. Its vast landmark stretches out to almost 60% of the Brazilian lands. Full and rich of 120 feet tall trees, and equipped with species both known and unknown to man, the Amazon forest is a home to both the human race and the animal kingdom.

It also does much in the absorption of carbon dioxide and is the largest contributor to the prevention of greenhouse gases accumulating in the surfaces of our atmosphere. However, with the rising rate of deforestation in the Amazon, the world can be cupped in fatal hands.

Imagine how the trends would run if the Amazon forest dies? Its accumulated carbon dioxide will eventually be exhausted back to the air; and the abrupt negative changes of greenhouse effect will likely take place. Our wildlife resources would soon be depleted and the biggest source of natural life would undoubtedly come to an end.

The Roots Of Deforestation In The Amazon

Annually, gigantic land areas of the Amazon forest are being destroyed for the sole purpose of agricultural use; and the main culprits are underprivileged farmers and huge companies. Clearing smaller areas of the forest is a form of feeding the impoverished population while larger tracts are being emptied for the conversion of forest areas to soybean vegetation. Statistically speaking, these companies would reach heights up to the level of the American Midwest soybean plantation; and they would gradually be covering the entire Amazon if not stopped.

Logging is also one of the leading causes of barren areas in the Amazon. Local people depend on wood for building small houses and generating fire. These actions do not do much damage to the forest since the needed raw materials are only small in quantity. However, with large corporations leading the way, and with the massive demand for timber, the Amazon forest would undoubtedly be depleted of its sources. The chances of recovering after an “attack” are therefore lessened. Also, wildlife grazing over these forests cannot adapt to the change thereby leading to extinction. One wrong move of the humans can cause enormous and drastic changes over the environment.

The Outcomes of Deforestation In The Amazon

The forest is the home of many living creatures; it is also the source of many human essential needs. If the vast lands of the Amazon forest will vanish, the world will be deprived of a balanced ecosystem, and this interruption would result to the following: homes of thousands of plants and animals will be destroyed, the world’s climate will change, human sources of medicine and food will be terminated.

Humans will no longer be protected against catastrophes such as flood, erosion and drought, tribal people will lose their habitat, and lastly, there would be no nice and natural forests to explore in.

The future is truly hard to see and predict. It takes a while to convince and drive people to change. Perhaps, with the ongoing rise of deforestation in the Amazon, it isn’t unlikely for the world to fall into pieces with just a snap of our fingers.

It is definitely hard to appreciate something while it’s still there. Remember, regrets usually come last. So even before nature backfires on us, we must strive to become the leaders to change.

About the Author:

The world’s leading luxury yacht show in Monaco is to pay for 55 wind turbines in New Zealand – enough to generate power for 45,000 homes – making the event ‘carbon neutral’.

Under the watchful eye of Prince Albert, the yacht show is part of Monaco’s new stance on global warming, and comes shortly after Prince Albert himself travelled to the North Pole in April to highlight the damage he believes global warming is having on the environment.

‘Since Prince Albert came to the throne last year’ comments Henri Boulanger of Monte Carlo travel guide YourMonaco, ‘Monaco has changed her policy from one of the few countries not to sign the Kyoto Protocol to not only signing it but taking a lead in the battle against global warming. Prince Albert has personally taken steps to show how concerned he is, and by setting the example of going to the North Pole has shown the leadership necessary to encourage Monaco companies to become environmentally friendly, and the Monaco Yacht Show is an example of this’.

The Monaco Yacht Show has bult a reputation over the years as the place for the wealthy to view potential purchases, and this year there will be nearly a hundred yachts on display to those able to afford it.

In total 22,000 visitors are expected to attend with over 500 exhibitors from the yachting world exhibiting.

The mix of wealth and Monte Carlo also means that real estate agents in Monaco will be on full alert. In previous years the Monaco Yacht Show has often proved more beneficial for the realtors than the Monaco Grand Prix.

The Monaco Grand Prix attracts tens of thousands of Formula 1 fans annually to the principality at the end of May, but with some Monte Carlo streets closed, showing property in Monaco can be more problematic than during the Yacht Show.

Monte Carlo real estate specialists Tribune Properties say that the more relaxed atmosphere of the Yacht Show allows potential property buyers to view properties.

‘If someone is visiting Monaco for the Yacht Show and has several million Euros available, it’s a pretty safe assumption that those buyers will have a few million for a property too, and a luxury yacht and Monaco Real Estate appeal to the same type of buyer’, claims Roger Munns, Tribune’s Managing Director.

Typical of Monaco Real Estate prices is a two bedroom two bathroom apartment in Seaside Plaza, close to where the Yacht Show is located, at 3,700,000 Euros.

Monaco Hotels

The emergence of the Yacht Show has helped the Monaco economy by drawing the world’s wealthy to the principality for four days in September.

Until recently the Monaco Grand Prix in May and the Monte Carlo Masters tennis the month before have been the two main events of the year which boost the occupancy levels of the hotels in Monaco.

With the Yacht Show in September filling the hotels at premium rates, it has proved to be a welcome addition to the calendar of events for both residents and businesses alike, and the Hotel de Paris Monte Carlo will be the scene of many deals being signed over the four days.

This year also saw the first Monaco Flower Show, which it is hoped will also be a tourist magnet in future years.

‘In the past Monaco has had the highlights of the Monaco Grand Prix and the tennis, with consistent numbers of visitors the rest of the year,’ state YourMonaco, ‘but Monaco is becoming much more diverse in what it offers throughout the calendar year. The Yacht Show has been a success, and given a little time the Monaco Flower Show will appeal to a different type of tourist, and might be as popular as the Hampton Court and Chelsea Flower Shows are in the UK. Diversity is the key to sustained tourism, and Monaco is doing it very well.

Despite being the second smallest country in the world, Monaco has attracted many of the world’s top business and entertainment people to live there due to her income tax free status, and with Prince Albert at the helm it seems that the principality is beginning to punch above her weight in world politics as he takes the lead on environmental issues’, conclude YourMonaco.
